Whicker bannetons are particularly recommended for thicker and low hydration doughs (dry doughs). With whicker bannetons we canl make bread with lovely designs and impossible to find anywhere else. We do NOT recommend whicker bannetons for high hydration doughs, as these stick and lead to poor results.
- Dust with flower before inserting dough.
- Once the dough reaches the desired size, turn the banneton out onto the oven stone.
- Clean with a brush after every use. Never use water or wet cloths when cleaning the banneton.
